Gary Kowalski has served as a Unitarian Universalist minister in Memphis TN, Seattle WA, and Burlington VT, since graduating from Harvard Divinity School. He has written on behalf of animals for many years, with the best of his sermons published in 1989 by Harper & Row, Best Sermons. He brings us excerpts from The Bible According to Noah - Theology as if Animals Mattered, The Souls of Animals,  Goodbye Friend, and Science and the Search for God.

Shirley MacLaine is probably best known for her previous life experiences but in her latest lighthearted yet thought-provoking Out on a Leash MacLaine shares her wisdom and insight gained by seeing the world through the eyes of her winning terrier, Terry.

Betsy Wharton gains a heightened empathy for the animal kingdom and muses on her place in this world after watching an animated movie about Spirit, a mythic super hero stallion.

Patrick Loafman artfully describes the dance of dragonflies and the romance of courting cranes.

Ross Turkus relates to the animalistic instinct to mark its territory with his own propensity to stake claims in his environment.

Dave Shreffler enchants us with his new book Equatorial Crossings which is part travelogue, part celebration of natural and cultural diversity, and part love story.  Shreffler gives us an unveiled look at one couple's journey around the world.

Chris Duff returns to share a rare snapshot of a day in the life of a solo kayaker with an excerpt from Southern Exposure - A Solo Sea Kayaking Journey Around New Zealand's South Island.

Meredith Young-Sowers, D. Div. looks for love through a man and finds what she needs within herself.

Asoka Selvarajah suggests a strategy to facilitate peace.

Kenneth P. Gurney inspires and raises questions in "Borderlands of Reason" and "Asking the Opinion of Alder Trees."

Peggy de Broux shares sweet memories in "Heron Feed",  "Color of Pistachio" and "Honey Oak."

Andrew Pell document coordinator, writer, and musician from Sydney, Australia writes about the song found in every heart.

Pattiann Rogers uses her mastery of words to give us a virtual reality experience of kneading dough.

Eleanora Scarpetta, our favorite Italian, makes our mouths water with her recipes for the holidays.

Ron Rubin, Chairman of the Board of Republic of Tea, and Stuart Avery Gold, COO, provide a guide for Zentrepreneurs in an excerpt from their book Wowisms: Words of Wisdom for Dreamers and Doers: A Zentrepreneur's Guide.

Robert C. Felix guides us in prayer meditation.

Deepak Chopra teaches us that coincidences are not just events of chance but rather glimpses of divine intelligence.
